Once you've arrived on site and finished the work, you'll usually need to complete a job report before you leave. The report captures the key details of the appointment and gives your office a full record of what you did. The questions are set up by your office team, so they vary depending on the type of job.
How to complete a job report
Open the report
On the job, tap the blue Fill in the job report banner at the top of the screen. It appears when a report is required while on "Arrived" on a job.
Answer the questions
The report is a series of questions set up by your office team, and they change depending on the job type. The fields work the same way as custom forms, and different types behave a little differently:
Text fields: tap in and type. The app shows the right keypad for the answer needed.
Dropdowns: tap to choose from the list, and check for prefilled options that can save you time.
Checkboxes: tap to tick.
Calculation fields: worked out automatically from your other answers, so you don't need to calculate anything yourself.
Photos: tap the photo button to take or upload one.
Signatures: tap the signature field and sign on screen.
Required questions are marked with a red asterisk (*).
Save and submit the report
Review your answers carefully.
When you're happy, tap Save. The banner turns green to show the report is complete, and you'll see Report submitted successfully.
Important: Once a job report is submitted, it can't be edited. Review your answers carefully before you save.
Save and finish later
If you're not ready to submit the report, you can save what you've entered and come back to it later.
Tap the back chevron to step back through the pages until you reach the first page.
On the first page, tap the option to save. Your answers so far are saved without submitting the report.
Reopen it from the blue Fill in the job report banner when you're ready to finish.
If you need to switch to another screen or app before you're done, save your answers first so nothing is lost.
Filling in the report with AI:den
Note: AI:den is in closed beta and available to a limited number of clients, so it may not appear for you yet.
If your company uses AI:den, you can fill in the report by voice instead of typing every answer.
On the report, tap Tap and let AI:den create your job report at the top of the step.
The button turns into a recorder showing a timer and a waveform. Speak clearly and describe the work you completed, the parts you used, any payments, and any recommendations. AI:den needs microphone access — if it's denied, the app prompts you to allow it the first time you record.
Tap the square stop button on the left of the recorder to finish. To discard the recording instead, use Slide to cancel.
AI:den fills the fields it can match and highlights each one with a sparkle icon ✨.
Check every highlighted field. To change one, tap it and edit it manually — the highlight disappears once you do.
If your report has more than one step, tap Next and use AI:den again on each step.
Enter signatures, photos, measurements, and timeframes yourself. AI:den can't capture these.
Important: AI:den needs an active internet connection. If you're offline or lose signal, a red Disconnected. Check your network message appears at the bottom of the screen, and you'll need to fill in the report manually.
Tip: You can use AI:den on your arrive report too. When you arrive at a job and open the arrive report, tap the AI:den button and describe the site the same way.
