Engineer departure notifications help to maintain operational efficiency by sending alerts when an engineer has not left their home by a time determined here. This proactive notification system ensures adherence to schedules, helps identify potential delays, and facilitates timely adjustments or communication with customers.
View setting
➡️ Navigate to your Profile icon > Settings > Fleet management > Engineer departure notifications > View
Enable departure notification
Enable: Toggle option to Yes, the dependant settings will be displayed
Disable: Toggle option to No.
Notification rule
➡️ Set the rule around when the notification should be sent
Send a notification n minutes before the engineer's shift start time if the engineer hasn't left home > Select time from the dropdown.
You can set the notification to send up to 15 minutes before the shift starts, in 5-minute intervals.
A shift must be assigned to the engineer to trigger this notification.
Send a notification if the engineer hasn't left their house by a specific time > Select the days to apply the notification rule > Select applicable days of the week > Set the time in the dropdown.
A public holiday must be assigned to the engineer to trigger notifications when Holiday is selected.

Set up email alerts to notify the appropriate recipients when engineers do not meet departure rules.
Who should receive notifications:
Users: Send the notification to the chosen user names only.
Roles: Send the notification to all users on the chosen roles.
Everyone: All users receive the notification.
None: Disable this notification type.
Email template: Select an appropriate email template to use for this notification.
Add new template: Create a new template to use if you have not done so already.

None: No one receives the notification.
