Integration Overview
The Spruce integration with Commusoft allows Enquiries created in Spruce to be automatically converted into opportunities within Commusoft, along with the associated notes. This integration eliminates the need for manual data entry and ensures that sales teams can respond efficiently to new enquiries.
Enquiry Creation in Spruce: Spruce will send the Enquiry to Commusoft.
Opportunity Creation in Commusoft: The Enquiry will automatically be transformed into an opportunity within Commusoft.
Notes Transfer: Any notes attached to the Enquiry in Spruce will be sent to Commusoft and associated with the corresponding opportunity.
Notifications: Users in Commusoft will be notified when a new opportunity is created from a Spruce Enquiry.
Integration Setup Process
Setting up the Spruce integration is a manual process that requires specific details please email the below through to [email protected]. The necessary steps are as follows:

Once the above details are received from the client, contact [email protected]
After completing the setup, the client's user (typically the owner/manager with sales access) will receive an email with the following details:
Client ID
API key
For now, the default first user will be set up since there is no user interface (UI) available yet. Once the UI becomes available, the user setting up the integration will receive notifications and emails.
Spruce Configuration
The client must complete the following steps within the Spruce system to activate the integration:
Login to the Spruce account.
Navigate to Settings > Edit.
Under Commusoft Integration, input the Client ID and API key received via email.
Save the configuration.
After these steps, any new Enquiry created in Spruce will automatically be sent to Commusoft as an opportunity.
Opportunity Management in Commusoft
Customer Creation: A new customer will be created in Commusoft if they don’t already exist.
Opportunity Notes: The notes associated with the Enquiry in Spruce will be added to the corresponding opportunity in Commusoft.
Notifications: Users will receive notifications when a new opportunity is created. These notifications will include a reference to the Spruce Enquiry.
Proposal Management: Proposal creation, acceptance, and rejection can only be handled within Commusoft.
