Configure Picking List Options

When setting up your workflow, you can choose between two collection methods:

Picklist Off: Engineers collect parts directly from the store or warehouse without using a Picking list.

Benefits:

  • Quick and flexible for the engineer

  • Minimal setup required

Considerations:

  • Less control over what’s being collected

  • Harder to monitor stock movement precisely

This setting is ideal for smaller teams or businesses with basic stock tracking needs.

Picklist On: Engineers receive a dedicated picking list assigned to their name. Stockroom staff prepare and confirm parts for collection. The engineer then scans and collects them using the mobile app.

Benefits:

  • Clear, trackable handover process

  • Improved inventory control and accuracy

Considerations:

  • Requires coordination between the engineer and the stockroom

  • Slightly longer workflow

Ideal for larger teams with dedicated warehouses and structured part distribution.
