Configure Picking List Options
When setting up your workflow, you can choose between two collection methods:
Picklist Off: Engineers collect parts directly from the store or warehouse without using a Picking list.
Benefits:
Quick and flexible for the engineer
Minimal setup required
Considerations:
Less control over what’s being collected
Harder to monitor stock movement precisely
This setting is ideal for smaller teams or businesses with basic stock tracking needs.
Picklist On: Engineers receive a dedicated picking list assigned to their name. Stockroom staff prepare and confirm parts for collection. The engineer then scans and collects them using the mobile app.
Benefits:
Clear, trackable handover process
Improved inventory control and accuracy
Considerations:
Requires coordination between the engineer and the stockroom
Slightly longer workflow
Ideal for larger teams with dedicated warehouses and structured part distribution.
