This setting allows you to generate a unique TV display URL that shows the live locations of your engineers on a map.
You can use this link on smart TVs or Chromecast devices to display real-time vehicle movements, giving your team a clear overview of daily operations.
Each link can be customised to show jobs, opportunities, estimates, and live travel routes, ideal for tracking activity in a shared workspace like an operations room or dispatch center.
🔎How to access the TV displays for vehicle trackers setting
➡️ Go to your Profile icon → Choose Settings → Locate Fleet management in the Categories menu → Click View next to TV displays for vehicle trackers
How to create a tracking View
➡️ Add new vehicle tracker URL
Name: Enter a clear, descriptive name for this Fleet TV link. This will help you identify the link later.
Display all diary information: Choose whether to show all diary events (estimates, opportunities, and jobs) on the map.
If set to "Yes" – the map will display all scheduled events for the selected day, giving a full view of field activity.
Display the expected route when an engineer is travelling: Choose whether the expected travel route should appear on the map when an engineer starts travelling.
If set to "Yes" – when engineers tap Travel on their mobile app, the map will display their estimated route and arrival time in real time.
Who do you want to include in this?: Choose how you want to select which engineers to show on the Fleet TV link:
User group – Add one or more existing user groups.
Specific user – Include individual engineers only.
User skills – Filter based on skill tags assigned to engineers.
Click Save to generate and activate the Fleet TV link or Cancel to discard the setup without saving.
Once created, a unique tracking URL will be generated. This URL displays a map with all connected trackers for the designated users or views.
It will only be available on the paid fleet plan.
Existing link usage guidance:
If you have already generated a link, you can continue using it.
If you have never added a link, the old setting will be removed automatically.
How to edit a tracking View
Once you've added the TV display link, you can edit it as needed. These actions are available in the Actions column next to each TV display link.
➡️Click Edit > Make changes > Click Save
How to delete a tracking View
You can delete the TV display link created.
➡️Click Delete > Type "delete" to confirm > Click Delete
