Timesheet approval
Updated over 3 months ago

Mobile app users can log their shifts, including breaks, using the timecard widget on the app home screen. These entries are displayed in weekly timesheets through a report for office users to review and approve. This can help to ensure accurate payroll, facilitate project management, and support performance analysis, ultimately ensuring efficient time management across your staff.

The timesheet approval report is where office users can review, amend and approve weekly timesheets. Individual timecards can be reviewed by clicking on the day, if multiple timecards are logged for a single day they will be displayed in a list when the day is selected to view.

Filters

You can apply a date filter to view all timesheets logged for your users during that week, reducing the data if there are many weeks awaiting review.

The quick filters allow switching between pending and approved timesheets. Keep your timesheets previously approved in the 'Approved' report for your records. You can also archive these historical timesheets if they are no longer required.

Once an approved timesheet has been archived, it can no longer be viewed.

Add new timecard

Timecards are designed for mobile app users, however, they can also be added on the web if required.

➡️ Add new timecard > Select a user in the dropdown menu > Select the start date > Set the clock in time > Select the end date > Set the clock out time > Save

If breaks were taken, click the + button and a new set of date/time fields will be displayed. Breaks must be logged within the time set for clock in and clock out.

Delete: Delete the full week's timesheet.

➡️ Delete > Review the date and time displayed > Type 'DELETE' > Delete

Once a timesheet has been approved or deleted, this cannot be undone.
