The job on our way SMS enables you to send an automatic SMS notification to the job contact when the engineer taps travel on the appointment and is en route to the property. This keeps customers informed and enhances communication, reducing the need for follow-up calls and administrative time.
If the event start time is in the past when the appointment is marked as Travel, the SMS will not be sent.

Steps to configure the SMS

Add job mobile engineer SMS: Compose an SMS message to inform customers the engineer/technician is on their way to the property.
Use tagging to personalise the message with job-specific details such as customer name, job location, and scheduled times.
Click Save.
The character limit is 160 characters per SMS. Keep your SMS messages concise to reduce the number of credits used for each message.
