The Heat Engineer integration allows you to generate and link heating system design reports—referred to as certificates—directly to Opportunities in Commusoft. This helps streamline your workflow and ensures all relevant documentation is traceable in one place.

To connect Commusoft with your Heat Engineer account, follow these steps:
1. Go to Integrations:
In Commusoft, click your profile icon and select Integrations from the dropdown menu.
2. Find the Integration:

Click Continue to finish the setup.
The integration status should now show as Active.
What is a Heat Engineer Certificate?
In Commusoft, the term "certificate" refers to the full system design report generated by Heat Engineer. This includes detailed calculations such as room-by-room heat loss, radiator or underfloor heating sizing, and boiler or heat pump recommendations. The report supports accurate installations and can be shared with customers or stored for compliance purposes.
Linking Certificates to Opportunities
Once your Heat Engineer account is connected, you can start linking certificates to specific opportunities.
1. Open an Opportunity:
Go to a customer profile and select an existing Opportunity.
The Opportunity must be in "Ongoing" status to link or unlink certificates.
