To streamline your workflow, Office tasks and Job reminders are being consolidated into a single feature: Scheduled activities. This transition includes an automatic two-way sync that ensures your data remains accurate across both the web and mobile apps, regardless of which job view your team currently uses.

During the transition period, the old and new job views stay completely in sync. Any update made to an existing Office task or Job reminder will automatically reflect in your Scheduled activities list, and vice versa. This guarantees that no data is ever out of date.

Additionally, every newly created scheduled activity will generate a corresponding office task entry. This background sync will continue until Office tasks are fully retired in a future release.

The two-way sync logic applies directly to the Commusoft mobile app, but the information your field staff see depends on the job screen they are using.

If your team uses the new job screen, Office tasks and Reminders are completely removed from the mobile interface to make way for the new scheduled activities functionality. All other mobile functionality remains unchanged.

Due to the high volume of existing data in the system, there is a limit on what historical data moves over to the mobile app during the initial release.

Only incomplete records from both Scheduled activities and Office tasks will sync to the mobile app during the migration. Existing completed Office tasks will not appear in your Scheduled activities list. However, any newly created records will sync to the mobile app as normal moving forward.
