The Customer Job Confirmation Messages setting enables automatic notifications to let customers know when their jobs are scheduled. This improves communication by ensuring customers are aware of the work schedule, setting expectations for arrival and work details.
View Setting
➡️ Navigate to your Profile icon > Settings > Schedule and dispatch > Customer job confirmation template > View
You have three options to notify a work address when a job is booked:
Email
SMS
Letter
Enable all three methods. This ensures that addresses without an email or phone number can still be notified via letter.
Setting Up Notification Messages
Select the preferred notification method from the options on the left.
Add a subject line
Fill in the message in the provided text box for each method.
Use taggingto personalize the message with job-specific details such as customer name, job location, and scheduled times.
Customise each message to ensure clear communication for job bookings.
SMS messages are limited to 160 characters. Exceeding this will use additional SMS credits, so keep SMS concise. Tagging will autofill information, so consider the character limit when adding tags.
