Estimate Statuses in Workflow

  1. Ongoing

    • When an estimate is first created, it will default to the Ongoing status.

    • Example: Filtering by this status in a report will show all estimates that have been created but have not yet been sent to the customer.

  2. Waiting for Customer

    • After the estimate has been filled out and sent to the customer, the status changes to Waiting for Customer.

    • Example: Filtering by this status will display all estimates sent to the customer but awaiting a response.

  3. Accepted or Rejected

    • Once the customer responds, the estimate status will change to either Accepted or Rejected, depending on their decision.

  4. Booking After Sending Estimate

    • If an appointment is booked after sending the estimate to the customer, the status will revert to Ongoing to reflect the active engagement with the estimate.

Tips for Using Status Filters in Reports

  • Single Status Filter: You can filter your report by only one status at a time. This helps to focus on a specific stage in the estimate workflow, like viewing all pending responses by selecting Waiting for Customer.

  • Multiple Reports: To view multiple statuses simultaneously, you can create separate reports for each status to monitor the overall estimate progress.
