Enable timestamp and location for photos

Capturing the precise time and location of your photos provides valuable context for your field service documentation. By enabling timestamps and location data, you ensure a detailed and verifiable record for jobs, inspections, and site visits. This added information enhances transparency and improves the reliability of your reports.

View Setting

➡️ Profile icon > Settings > Mobile > Enable timestamp and location for photos > View

  • Enable timestamp: Include the date and time the photo was taken.

  • Enable location: Include the geographical coordinates (longitude and latitude) where the photo was captured.

  • These settings will only apply to photos taken using the Commusoft mobile app's camera function. They will not affect images already stored in your device's gallery.

  • If the device has location permissions disabled, the photo will display 'Location unavailable'.
