User role required: Office staff and above
A recall is a job raised when you have to return to a property to rectify a mistake or problem with a previous job. Switching recalls on lets your team link follow-up work back to the original job, so the history and the reason for the return visit stay together on the customer record.
âĄď¸ Click your Profile icon > Settings > Jobs > Enable recalls
Tick Turn on recalls.
Click Save.
Once recalls are on, the recall actions become available on the job record. To switch recalls off later, return to this screen, clear the checkbox and save again.

What can I do once recalls are enabled?
Once recalls are enabled, you can raise a recall from an existing job, or link a job you have already created as a recall of an earlier job. Both actions link the two records together so the connection is kept.

Who can create, edit, and delete recall jobs?
What a user can do with recall jobs depends on their role. Roles are cumulative, so each role can also do everything the roles below it can:
Engineer: View recall jobs, and action them in the mobile app in the same way as a standard job.
Engineer with invoicing: Create recall jobs.
Office staff: Edit recall jobs.
Financial office staff: Delete recall jobs.
Note that these roles govern the recall jobs themselves. Switching the setting on or off is separate and requires the Office staff role or above.
