Creating the call note templates simplifies the activity during the call communication and speeds up the process of updating the required information smartly. By using the pre-defined call note templates, all the necessary information is gathered with the use of custom tags and updated on the opportunity timeline.
View setting
➡️ Profile Icon > Settings > Communications > Call note templates > View
Adding a new call note template
➡️ Click ‘Add new call note’.
Following that,
Choose the relevant folder to keep the templates saved.
Name a template.
Compose a message, which will then populate as a call note template during the call communication. You can create the template using custom tags as needed.

Custom tags can be used while composing a message to replace them with the respective values/ information once it is updated.
Configuring the custom tags in the call note templates
Configuring the custom tags have two options: An input field or a dropdown.
While adding the call notes,
Input field: The confirmed values will be replaced with the custom tag we choose.
Dropdown: The list of added options will be populated in the dropdown to choose the confirmed one to replace the custom tag.
To edit the custom tag, click on that and update the changes.
Upon completing a message and configuring the required custom tags, click on ‘save’ to store the template.

Edit call note templates
To edit a call note template, Click on Edit > Amend > Save
Delete call note templates
To delete a call note template, Click Delete > Confirm ‘Delete’.
