The Estimate No Access Message setting lets you set up automatic communications for customers or work addresses when an engineer is unable to access a site for an estimate event. This reduces administrative work by providing a predefined communication template to promptly inform customers, helping facilitate quick rescheduling or access arrangements.


Setting Up the Estimate No Access Message

➡️ Navigate to your Profile icon > Settings > Schedule and despatch > Estimate no access email template > View

  1. Enable Automatic Messaging:

    • Use the radio buttons to choose if you want to automatically send a message to the customer or work address when an access issue occurs.

  2. Compose Message Content:

    • Set up a message template for Email and SMS notifications, providing clear and concise information regarding the access issue.

    • Include Specific Details: For each message, describe the next steps or rescheduling options, ensuring the customer understands how to proceed.

    • Using both email and SMS can increase the likelihood of timely communication with the customer.

    • SMS messages are limited to 160 characters. Exceeding this limit will use additional SMS credits.

  3. Tagging for Personalization:

    • Apply Tags: Personalize the message with tags to include specific job or customer details, such as customer name, job address, and appointment date.

    • Refer to this article on tags for detailed tag options.

  4. Click Save
