The Estimate No Access Message setting lets you set up automatic communications for customers or work addresses when an engineer is unable to access a site for an estimate event. This reduces administrative work by providing a predefined communication template to promptly inform customers, helping facilitate quick rescheduling or access arrangements.
Setting Up the Estimate No Access Message
➡️ Navigate to your Profile icon > Settings > Schedule and despatch > Estimate no access email template > View
Enable Automatic Messaging:
Use the radio buttons to choose if you want to automatically send a message to the customer or work address when an access issue occurs.
Compose Message Content:
Set up a message template for Email and SMS notifications, providing clear and concise information regarding the access issue.
Include Specific Details: For each message, describe the next steps or rescheduling options, ensuring the customer understands how to proceed.
Using both email and SMS can increase the likelihood of timely communication with the customer.
SMS messages are limited to 160 characters. Exceeding this limit will use additional SMS credits.
Tagging for Personalization:
Apply Tags: Personalize the message with tags to include specific job or customer details, such as customer name, job address, and appointment date.
