Vehicle status

Vehicle statuses allow you to customise and manage the operational state of your vehicles in the Fleet Management system. By defining and organising statuses, you can improve fleet visibility and track vehicle conditions effectively.


View setting

➡️ Navigate to your Profile icon > Settings > Fleet management > Vehicle status > View

Use the search bar to quickly find specific statuses within the list.

Four vehicle statuses are preconfigured for use:

  • In use: Indicates the vehicle is currently assigned to a user.

  • Not in use: Indicates the vehicle is not assigned and available for assignment.

  • Out of operation: This status indicates that the vehicle is temporarily unavailable for use due to maintenance, repairs, or other operational reasons.

  • Sold: Indicates the vehicle has been sold and archived for historical purposes.

These default statuses cannot be edited or deleted.

Drag and drop records to sort using the icon.


Add new vehicle status

➡️ Add new vehicle status

  1. Complete the side panel

    • Status name: Enter a name for the new status (e.g., "On Hold").

    • Status colour: Use the integrated colour picker to assign a colour.

  2. Save the changes.


Managing statuses

Edit status

➡️ Edit > Modify status name & colour > Save

A status cannot be edited if assigned to a vehicle, unassign the status first.

Delete status

➡️ Delete > Type Delete > Confirm

If the status is in use, it cannot be deleted. Instead, consider archiving it for historical purposes.
