Commusoft Sales+ uses a hierarchical permission structure. Generally, each role level inherits all permissions from the roles listed above it, with additional capabilities added at each level.
Sales+ roles
These roles determine the specific actions a user can perform within the Sales + add-on, from sending simple proposals to configuring company-wide templates.
Sales support
This role allows administrative staff to assist with the sales process without managing their own pipeline.
Accept/Reject: Proposals.
Send: Proposals.
Important: This role is strictly tied to the Sales support license type. It is the only role available for users with that license. Conversely, this role cannot be assigned to users holding a Sales person license.
Sales person
This is the standard role for fee-earning sales staff. It grants the ability to manage the full sales cycle.
Create: Opportunities, Add-ons, Finance, and Proposals from templates.
Access: Opportunities dashboard.
Send: Proposals.
Add: Communications and Scheduled activities.
Senior sales person
This role adds financial oversight and standardisation capabilities to the standard sales person permissions.
View: Financial breakdown for proposals.
Create: Email templates and SMS templates.
Manage: Set default editor styles.
Sales manager
Designed for users managing the sales strategy and assets. This role allows for the configuration of sales tools and branding.
Add/Manage: Sequences, Option templates, Survey templates, Proposal branding, Saved colours, and Custom fonts.
Sales director
This user has full access to the Sales CRM and is responsible for the high-level setup of the application.
Manage: Application settings and master templates.
Owner/manager
This user has full access to all features across the system.
Manage: Assigning roles and licenses to other users.
