The proposal confirmation setting is where you create and manage the Email and SMS templates used when sending sales proposals to customers. This allows you to tailor the proposal communication, including links to the proposal portal based on the specific Opportunity template, ensuring a highly professional and relevant customer experience.
How to access the Proposal confirmation setting
➡️ Go to your Profile icon → Choose Settings → Locate Proposal in the Categories menu → Click View next to Proposal confirmation
How to set up Proposal confirmation
You can define which opportunity templates and sales personnel will trigger the proposal confirmation notification, and customise the communication templates used when sending the quote.
In the table on the left, click the relevant Opportunity template you wish to configure the confirmation for, or select the default Any option to apply the rule broadly.
Use the Email dropdown to choose the communication template that will send the proposal. You can click Add new template if a suitable one does not exist.
Use the SMS dropdown to choose the text message template that will be sent, which often includes the link to the proposal portal.
Review the message preview on the right-hand side in the Desktop and Mobile views to ensure the proposal links and details are displayed correctly.
Click Save to activate the confirmation rule.
The existing templates you created for this setting have now moved to Email settings under the folder Opportunity template - Send proposal templates

How to change/delete the Proposal confirmation template
➡️ For Email section:
Click 'Clear' under the email section and replace it with the required template.
➡️ For SMS section:
Click 'Clear' under the SMS section and replace it with the required template.
