Abort reasons are the list of reasons your team chooses from when aborting a job. Setting up a clear, standard list saves admin time and gives you consistent records of why jobs didn't go ahead.
Important: Aborting a job closes it permanently and can't be undone. This is different from aborting an appointment, which only cancels that visit and leaves the job open to rebook.

Is aborting a job the same as aborting an appointment?
Is aborting a job the same as aborting an appointment?
No, aborting a job and aborting an appointment are different actions. Aborting a job closes the whole job permanently, and it can't be reopened or scheduled again. Aborting an appointment only cancels that visit. The job stays open and can be rebooked.
