What happens if the workflow templates haven't synced to the mobile?

If workflow templates haven't synced by the time an engineer accepts a diary event, they'll receive a warning message prompting them to reopen their app with a stable connection to sync the templates.

If the templates are still not synced when the engineer marks the event as 'Arrive', they'll see a notification:

  • Would you like to use the default questions?

Choosing “No” returns them to the event without status change. Choosing “Yes” marks them as ‘Arrived,’ allowing them to proceed with default questions.

Why do certificates not show on the web?

Certificates may not show on the web if an appliance make or model used has been deleted, causing a sync error.

To prevent this, reinstall the Commusoft app whenever web settings are updated, ensuring the app database is current and avoids referencing deleted data.

If a reinstall is needed, ensure both the web and app are fully synced beforehand to prevent data loss. Note that any data not synced to the web is stored locally on the device and cannot be recovered if deleted.

How do I retain the service reminder date on a Domestic Gas Safety?

Domestic Gas Safety inspections can be carried out up to 2 months prior to the next service due date. Completing the service early requires the next service date to be entered accurately on the certificate, understanding the ways this can be done speeds up certificate creation while on site.

This option will only show on the standard Commusoft Gas Safety Certificate. Once you get to the Engineer Signature page, you will see Next Service Date.

  1. Click the Blue text where it says Please click here.......

  2. Service type box will appear

  3. Select the relevant service

  4. The Next service date will update
