Sales CRM is a comprehensive tool designed to streamline and enhance the sales process for service businesses. It enables you to manage and track sales opportunities, create professional proposals, and efficiently communicate with clients. It also empowers you to enhance the sales strategies, improve customer relationships, and ultimately sales growth. Settings are Role level and Plan dependent.
Sales Terminology
Pipeline
Definition: A pipeline refers to a structured sequence of stages or steps through which a process flows to achieve a specific outcome. In various contexts, such as business, sales, or project management, a pipeline helps in organizing and managing tasks systematically, ensuring efficiency and progress tracking.
Example Sales Pipeline:
Stages: Lead Generation → Qualification → Proposal → Negotiation → Closing
Purpose: To manage and track the progression of potential sales from initial contact to final sale.
Opportunity
Definition: An opportunity refers to a potential business engagement or project that may result in revenue or growth for a company. It represents a chance to offer products or services to a prospective customer. Within Commusoft, it's stored against customers and work addresses, and it simply identifies that there is an opportunity to do business with that customer.
Proposal
Definition: A proposal is a detailed document submitted to a prospective client, outlining the specific services or products being offered, the approach to delivering them, pricing, timelines, and terms and conditions. It is a formal response to an identified opportunity the document that is actually sent to the customer and it typically have one or more options on them.
Options
Definition: Option templates enable you to present various choices or variations for a specific product or service offered to customers. These templates allow you to create multiple options, such as Good, Better, and Best, each outlining the specific services, features, or pricing associated with that option. When crafting a proposal for a customer, you can incorporate these option templates to deliver a more customised and flexible offering to suit all budgets.

Setting up you Sales CRM
There are some necessary setting that should be setup prior to creating an Opportunity the more you invest in this setup, the quicker and easier it will be later on to create Opportunities quickly and efficiently. We advise following this order to ensure all sections are completed.
Adding a Sales Licence
The first thing you will need to do is have a Sales licence assigned to your user.

Visual way to track Opportunities through a Sales cycle.
Some plans have one default Pipeline only.
The Add-On plan does not have Pipelines.
Start with a Cover page
Contents: Text, Branding, Images, Videos, Tagging etc
Required to have at least one to create an Option template
Required to have at least one rate.
Links the Job Description, Proposal template and Pipeline.
Some plans do not have Expiry rules.
Set up key Communications
Price/Product an Service that you are offering the customer.
Examples: Good/Better/Best.
Can assign different Finacnce templates to different Option templates
Deducts a funding amount from the Proposal.
Customise the reasons to suit your business.
Customise the reasons to suit your business.
Examples: Small works, New Boilers and Renewables.
Questions the engineer completes on arrival of an Opportunity.
