System requirements ensure that your devices can run Commusoft smoothly. These requirements help guarantee optimal performance and prevent issues like slow loading times or crashes. By meeting or exceeding the minimum recommended specs, you ensure your system can handle Commusoft alongside other apps and functions, allowing for efficient use now and in the future.

Note: If a device in use does not meet the minimum specification detailed in this guide, we may not be able to resolve performance issues.

Note: The manufacturer must support all hardware used.

Note: For best performance, we recommend devices always exceed these minimum specifications.


Windows | MacOS Requirements

  • Processor: Intel Core i5 or equivalent

  • RAM: 8GB

  • Operating System: Must be supported by the provider and have a valid license

  • Browser: Google Chrome (Recommended) and Safari - Up to date versions

  • Display Resolution: 1280 x 768

Mobile Devices Requirements

Android Phone/Tablet

  • Android OS: 10 or above

  • Hardware:

    • RAM: 3GB

    • Internal Storage: 5GB

    • Internet Connection: 4G

    • Display: 3.5”

iPhone/iPad

  • Apple OS: 15 or above

  • Hardware:

    • iPhone: 8 and above

    • iPad: Air 4th gen and above, 5th gen and above, Mini 6th gen and above, Pro

Tap to Pay

  • iOS 16.7 or later

  • iPhone XS or later

Note: Tap to Pay support on iOS in Canada is currently in BETA and is not supported by Commusoft. Apple will need to provide an update for full support.

Note: Update to latest iOS version for optimal performance.

Note: iPad does not support Tap to Pay as it lacks NFC technology; only iPhones can be used for this feature.


Troubleshooting

Screen Resolution

There are a few settings that can affect Commusoft from displaying correctly. If you experience the following error, check the settings listed below:

You need to make your browser window wider in order to use Commusoft.

  1. Browser Zoom: If your browser is set to a high level of zoom, reduce it until the error message is removed.

  2. Display Resolution: Check that your computer screen resolution meets the minimum requirement listed in this guide.

  3. Display Scale: If the scale of text and images has been increased, reduce it to remove the error message.

Note: You may need to close the browser and restart the computer for changes to take effect.
