See what has happened at this address before, so you are not walking in blind.
Property history lists the jobs and opportunities that have already happened at the address you are attending. It is the fastest way to find out whether someone has been here before, what they did, and how it ended.
What you see depends on your role. On the Engineer role, you only see the jobs that were assigned to you.
Opening property history
âĄď¸ Open a job > tap the menu icon > Property history
Each entry shows:
The date
Whether it was a Job or an Opportunity
A status badge, for example Accepted in green or Aborted in red
The description of the work
The job or opportunity number
Why it is worth checking
Before you start, a quick look tells you whether the same fault has been reported before, whether a previous visit was aborted and why, and whether there is quoted work outstanding.
Tip: A previous job showing Aborted is worth reading. It often explains an access problem or a missing part that is about to happen to you too.
Common questions
Does property history show every job at the address?
Not always. Property history is limited by your role. On the Engineer role, you only see jobs at that property that were assigned to you, so a colleague on a higher role may see more. If you need to see a job that isn't listed, ask your office.
What is the difference between a job and an opportunity?
A job is work that was booked in and carried out. An opportunity is quoted work, a proposal that may or may not have been accepted. On mobile, an opportunity opens as a survey visit.
