Your profile is where you find your account details and the Diagnostics screen. It is also where your Preferences live: the switch for the new job screen, and how your diary and maps open.

Your name and your role are shown at the top. From here you can reach:

The Preferences screen has three settings. After changing any of them, tap Save at the top right.

A Yes/No switch for the new job screen. Set it to Yes to use the new screen, or No to go back to the old one.

Choose how your diary opens from the dropdown, for example Monthly. If your phone is set to US English, you'll see Schedule instead of Diary.

Choose which app opens when you tap a job's address for directions: Google Maps or Waze.

The first time you tap an address, you are asked which app to use, and your choice becomes the default. You can change it here at any time. If you choose Waze and it is not installed on your phone, the app shows a message.

The new job screen is a redesign of the screen you use on every job — a new menu, and the main buttons moved to the bottom so the screen is easier to use one-handed.

It is being switched on by default in stages, so it may already be on for you. Until you are on the new screen, you will see a What's new card in the app.

If you need to go back to the old screen for now, set Enable new Job TT to No in your Preferences and tap Save. You will be asked to give feedback before you can switch back — this helps us fix whatever is getting in your way.

How do I go back to the old job screen?

You can go back to the old job screen from your profile: tap your profile icon > Preferences, set Enable new Job TT to No, and tap Save. You will be asked to give feedback first.

Is there a date when the old job screen stops working?

There is no fixed cut-off date. The new screen is being switched on by default in stages, and you can still switch back for now after giving feedback.

What is different about the new job screen?

The menu has been redesigned so it is easier to reach, and the main buttons have moved to the bottom of the screen so you can work one-handed. The job information itself is the same.

How do I change how my diary opens?

To change how your diary opens, tap your profile icon > Preferences, choose an option under Diary default view, and tap Save.

Can I change which maps app opens?

Yes, you can change which maps app opens. Tap your profile icon > Preferences, set Map default view to Google Maps or Waze, and tap Save.
