Mass archiving parts

Mass archive, Archive all parts, Bulk archive, Clean up parts list, Advanced options

The mass archive tool archives all the parts in your database at once that are not in an active status. This is useful for clearing out an old or outdated parts list, for example before importing a new one. Archived parts are removed from selection lists for future work, and your historical records are kept.

Mass archiving cannot be reversed. To archive a single part instead, see How to archive or delete a part.

Common questions

Can I undo a mass archive?

No. Mass archiving cannot be reversed, so check you want to archive your whole parts list before you confirm.

Why were some parts not archived?

Parts with an active status of 'Requested', 'On order', or 'Available' are skipped. Once those parts are 'Installed', 'Cancelled', or 'Returned', they can be archived.
