Bolt-ons allow you to enhance existing contracts with additional services, helping increase revenue while keeping contract management streamlined. Instead of creating separate contract templates for minor services, bolt-ons let you attach these services to a primary contract.

Core settings
To aid in a smooth set up we recommend you configure these core settings:
These are required if you wish to include assets, job details, or invoicing.
Add a New Bolt-on
Add New Bolt-on and complete the following steps
Step 1: Basic Details
🔶 Basic details
Enter the Bolt-on Name
Enter a Bolt-on Description.
Click Next.
Step 2: Assets
🔶 Enable assets
Select 'Yes' or 'No' to enable assets.
If 'Yes', choose applicable asset types from the dropdown (multiple selections allowed).
Click Next.
Step 3: Job Details
🔶 Allowed job descriptions
Are callouts/breakdowns included on this bolt on
Select 'Yes' or 'No'
🔶 Allowances
What are the allowances based on.
Choose either Job description or Business unit.
🔶 List of job descriptions
Search and select the Job descriptions required.
Enter the maximum number of jobs allowed.
Choose the Chargeable criteria from the dropdown.
If 'No, FOC on completion', select an FOC Reason.
Use Delete under the Action column to remove entries.
Click Next.
Step 4: Invoicing
🔶 Create invoice
Would you like to charge for the Bolt on?
Choose 'Yes' or 'No' to charge for the bolt-on.

Is the pricing fixed or does it change per customer?
Choose Fixed or Change per customer
Is this a fixed price or does it change depending on the number of properties or the number of assets?

🔶 Invoice Options
Click Add New Invoice Option
Enter required details
Period of billing
Description to appear on invoice
Nominal code
VAT options
VAT Inclusive/VAT Exclusive

Price
Save.
The details will populate in the table.
Click Finish to complete the Bolt-on template.
Bolt-on Template List Features
Filters: Use quick filters to sort by:
All bolt-ons, Completed, Not completed, and Archived.
Search Bar: Find specific bolt-ons by name.
Reorder: If multiple bolt-ons exist, rearrange them using
Edit: Click Edit > Make necessary modifications > Save changes.
Delete: Click Delete > Type 'Delete' to confirm > Click Delete to finalize removal.
If a bolt-on template is in use within an active contract, it cannot be deleted—only archived.
Example Bolt-on: Annual Boiler Service
Bolt-on Name: Annual Boiler Service
Description: This bolt-on adds an annual boiler servicing option to an existing maintenance contract, ensuring compliance and operational efficiency.
Assets: Boilers from predefined asset types.
Job Details:
Allowance: One job per year
Chargeable: Yes, standard service fee applies
Invoicing:
Fixed pricing: £120 per property
Invoice option: Add to regular contract invoice or bill separately
