Viewing the Stock item screen
To find a specific part, you can use the global search function or navigate directly within the stock management module.
Go to the global search bar > Enter the part name or reference number > View
Stock location > Current stock >
> View stock
Once selected, the Stock item screen provides a detailed overview of the part, including its industry, category, pricing, markup, and VAT.

Stock details
Each part includes essential information such as:
Part name – The name of the item.
Industry – The sector in which the part is used (e.g., Gas, Plumbing).
Category & Subcategory – Classification for better organization.
Price & Markup – Default pricing and percentage markup.
VAT Rate – Tax rate applied to the part.
Current stock breakdown
This section displays all locations where the part is stored, along with stock details:
Total stock – The total quantity available across all locations.
Reserved stock – Parts allocated for ongoing jobs.
Reserved for return – Stock designated for return to suppliers or internal reallocation.
Reserved for replenishment – Parts set aside to meet reorder level thresholds.
Scheduled for supplier pickup – Items awaiting collection from the supplier.
Balance available – The amount of stock that is not reserved or allocated.
Stock item history
The Stock item history section logs all stock-related actions for the selected part, providing transparency in stock movement and changes. Actions include:
Purchased – Parts acquired from suppliers.
Manually adjusted – Adjustments made through the manual stock edit function.
Reserved – Items assigned to jobs or specific users.
Transferred – Stock moved between locations or assigned to a different user.
Returned – Items sent back to suppliers or designated for return.

The Stock item screen allows users to manually adjust stock levels and transfer parts between locations.

To update stock levels manually:
Go to the Stock item screen and select the relevant part.
Click on Manually adjust stock.
Enter the adjustment details, including the new stock count and reason for adjustment.
Save the changes to ensure updates reflect correctly.

To move stock between locations:
Navigate to the Stock item screen and select the part.
Click Transfer stock.
Choose the source location and destination location.
Enter the quantity to be transferred.
Confirm and save the transfer.
