This overview will teach you all you need to know about jobs within Commusoft. It will walk you through each page within the job module. It is important that you go through these links in order and read all of the information carefully.

Add a job
This article will teach you how to add a job. When a customer calls to book a job you can add it straight into the diary, or you can add it through their account.

Edit a job
This article will teach you how to edit a job. This will be useful if someone has made a mistake.

Book a diary event
This article will teach you how to book a diary event. You can create a job without booking a diary event if a customer needs to confirm date/time etc. You can go back to this job later and book the event.

Add parts
This article will teach you how to add parts to a job. You will need to add them in system settings first.

Invoice job
This article will teach you how to add an invoice for the job.

Place job on hold
This article will teach you how to place a job on hold. You can do this if the customer would like to postpone the job, or if you are waiting for parts etc.

Add a reminder
This article will teach you how to add a reminder to a job. The reminder can be to do with collecting parts, or a reminder to check a previous appliance installation for example.
Mark job as free of charge
This article will teach you how to mark a job as free of charge. The job may be free of charge due to admin error, recall etc.
